Since launching in 2015, this program has been at the heart of iHeartDogs' mission: turning everyday purchases into real meals for dogs in need.

Why It Matters

Food is one of the largest ongoing expenses for animal shelters. When shelters don't have to cover the cost of feeding the dogs in their care, they can redirect those funds toward medical treatment, enrichment, and other needs that improve a dog's chances of adoption. GOODS by Greater Good Charities makes this possible at scale — collecting donated and surplus pet food from manufacturers and retailers, then organizing the transportation, storage, and delivery it takes to get that food to shelters that need it most.
