Second Chance Rescue Flights (part of the broader Second Chance Movement™) is a life-saving transport initiative made possible through iHeartDogs' partnership with Greater Good Charities. This program was created with a shared mission: to fly and drive at-risk shelter dogs from overcrowded, low-adoption areas to regions where loving families are waiting.

Why It Matters

In many parts of the country, shelters are overcrowded and under-resourced, and adoptable dogs are euthanized simply because there isn't enough space or demand. In other regions, shelters have far more potential adopters than available dogs. Second Chance Rescue Flights closes that gap — funding travel miles for volunteer pilots and drivers who transport at-risk dogs from high-euthanasia-risk shelters to safety, often within days of takeoff.
